Last week I celebrated my 1 year anniversary of baking under the official Sammsterdam name by hosting a pop-up shop bake sale out of the back of the truck. It was so much fun to tailgate it for you! The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to see friends I haven't seen for quite awhile.
I'm loving the idea of every Friday having a small bake sale with both top sellers and seasonal favorites. I will focus on always having one item available each week; krentenbollen/raisin buns and then add on a second and possibly a third item depending on requests and what is selling well. The third item I'm going to lovingly title 'Baker's Choice' and it might be a new recipe I'm testing and need feedback on, it could be something I haven't made for awhile and want to dust off the recipe, or it would be fun to pick out a seasonal or family favorite that I want to share with you.

I'll be updating the menu on my webpage as well but sometimes kitchen disasters happen or things get in the way of my baking schedule (like forgetting to start a levain for sourdough) and I have to adjust at the last minute to get something in the oven and won't have time to update the webpage. I would love to slowly build an email list to let you know about fun events or upcoming holiday sales but one thing at a time.
